Product Features

Split-Type Float Body – You can assemble the two halves around your pipe at the installation point, which is especially practical for long pipelines and replacement work.
Seamless Polyethylene Construction – Your float body is produced through rotational molding for good resistance to impact, moisture, UV exposure, and outdoor working conditions.
Pipe-Specific Inner Profile – You can match the internal diameter to your pipeline dimensions for better positioning and more consistent clamping.
Controlled Flotation Performance – You can select buoyancy according to pipeline operating weight and required freeboard rather than using the same float for every application.
Optional Internal Foam – When additional flotation retention is required, you can choose a foam-filled Pipe Float configuration.
Secure Fastening Areas – Reinforced connection zones help distribute pressure around the bolts and maintain stable assembly around the pipe.
Multiple Fastener Materials – You can specify galvanized or stainless-steel fastening components according to your water conditions and maintenance requirements.
Project Identification Options – Colors, molded logos, numbers, and section codes can be added to help you organize installation and asset management.

Application Scenarios

You can use these Pipe Floats for water pipelines in long-distance water transfer, reservoir supply lines, industrial cooling-water systems, mine-water transport, slurry pipelines, tailings conveying lines, floating pump installations, water intake networks, outlet pipelines, and temporary water supply projects.

They are also suitable for aquaculture circulation lines, hydropower projects, power-plant water systems, mineral-processing facilities, municipal water infrastructure, and environmental water-management applications.

When your pipeline operates in rivers, lakes, reservoirs, ports, or nearshore waters, marine pipeline floats can provide distributed support while allowing the pipe to respond to changes in water level and surface movement.

Suitable Industries

You can customize the internal diameter, float length, external dimensions, shell thickness, net buoyancy, foam filling, fastening hardware, body color, molded logo, serial numbers, project markings, and export packaging.

If you are an EPC contractor, pipeline supplier, mining company, marine engineering business, or equipment distributor, you can also order custom Pipe Floats for bulk projects, replacement stock, OEM supply, or private-label distribution.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

QHow do I calculate how many floats I need for my pipeline?

You need to ensure total buoyancy exceeds total weight. Calculate the combined weight of the steel/pipe itself + the weight of the material inside (e.g., slurry/water) + accessories. The floats should provide at least 20-30% more buoyancy than this total weight to keep the pipeline floating properly (usually with 1/4 of the pipe diameter above water).

QHow long is the warranty period?

The warranty period begins on the date the buyer hands over the goods to the investor and ends on the first 18 (eighteen) months after the buyer's handover date, or on the first 12 (twelve) months after the installation date, whichever comes first.

QAre these floats suitable for seawater use?

Yes, absolutely. Polyethylene (PE) is highly resistant to saltwater corrosion, UV radiation, and chemical erosion. They are actually preferred over steel floats in marine environments because they never rust.

QHow thick is the plastic on the floats? Precisely what is the material?

All of our floats are made with PE (polyethylene) plastic shells, each float has a closed-cell urethane foam filling for safety and structural rigidity. The PE shell is a super tough material that will take a beating and the foam filling stops you from sinking if you do manage to puncture a float.

QCan these pipe floats be customized for specific project requirements?

Yes, you can customize the internal diameter, float length, external dimensions, shell thickness, net buoyancy, foam filling, fastening hardware, body color, molded logo, serial numbers, project markings, and export packaging.

QWhat fastening components and materials are available?

You can specify galvanized or stainless-steel fastening components according to your water conditions, marine exposure, and maintenance requirements, supported by reinforced connection zones.
