Pipeline floats (also known as dredge floats or buoyancy modules) are devices attached to discharge pipes to keep them afloat on water, preventing underwater drag and ensuring safe material transport.
You need to ensure total buoyancy exceeds total weight. Calculate the combined weight of the pipe itself plus the weight of the material inside (such as slurry or water) and accessories. The floats should provide at least 20–30% more buoyancy than this combined weight, keeping approximately 1/4 of the pipe diameter above the water surface.
The warranty period begins on the date the buyer hands over the goods to the investor and ends on the first 18 (eighteen) months after the handover date, or on the first 12 (twelve) months after the installation date, whichever comes first.
Yes, absolutely. High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is highly resistant to saltwater corrosion, UV radiation, and chemical erosion. They are preferred over steel floats in marine environments because they never rust.
Yes. Outer diameter, inner diameter, overall length, wall thickness, and foam filling density can all be customized to match your specific pipeline outer diameter and load requirements. Standard high-visibility colors include yellow, orange, red, and custom colors are available upon request.
Each float consists of two symmetrical semi-circular halves. They are positioned around the steel, HDPE, or rubber hose pipeline and fastened tightly together using high-strength galvanized or stainless steel bolts, nuts, and reinforcement washers without requiring specialized heavy machinery.
